Why bundle landscaping and snow removal in one contract?+

Three reasons. (1) One vendor means one point of contact. (2) Year-round revenue lets us keep our crews and equipment instead of subcontracting in winter. (3) Slip-and-fall liability is much easier to defend when the same vendor is responsible for both surface drainage in summer and snow clearing in winter.

How do you handle snow events?+

Every event is logged: trigger time, dispatch time, arrival time, surfaces serviced, salt and de-icer applied, departure time, photos. Reports are available within 24 hours of the event ending. This is what wins slip-and-fall cases.

Do you work on multi-property portfolios?+

Yes — that is most of our business. Property managers running 10 to 50 commercial sites get a single account manager, route-optimized service, consolidated invoicing, and one number to call.

What about garden design and seasonal planting?+

Yes. Spring planting, summer color rotations, fall cleanup, and ongoing tree and shrub care are all part of the standard recurring program. Larger garden installs are quoted separately.

What kind of de-icer do you use?+

It depends on the temperature and surface. Standard rock salt for warmer winter days, calcium chloride for severe cold, calcium magnesium acetate where corrosion or vegetation is a concern. We choose per event, not per season.

Do you do sidewalks and entry zones?+

Yes. Sidewalks, entryways, and pedestrian paths are part of every snow program. We use sidewalk machines and walk-behind units for areas trucks cannot reach.

Are you bilingual?+

Yes — Terranova is bilingual EN / FR by default. Critical for Quebec property managers and tenant communication.
